After 26 years of globetrotting and language wrangling in the U.S. Air Force, I traded in my headsets and uniform for CAT tools and project schedules—and haven’t looked back. These days, I serve as Senior Project Manager at Translation by Design, where I get to combine my love of language with the ever-challenging puzzle of translation and interpretation workflows.

My specialty? Translation tech. Whether it’s TMS troubleshooting, cleaning up after MT’s creative improvisations, or figuring out why memoQ just won’t behave, I’m the team’s go-to. I also dabble in desktop publishing and website localization, because why stop at words when you can finesse the visuals too?

What sets TBD apart for me is the heart behind the hustle. I've worked in high-stakes, high-pressure environments, and while TBD moves fast, it never forgets the people. Here, I've found a team that values curiosity, creativity, and connection—plus a healthy respect for afternoon champagne.

When I’m not managing projects or untangling technical issues, you might find me tuning my ear to my native Spanish or adopted Hindi, exploring the California coast on my bicycle, or planning my next international adventure.
